Risks in Spreadsheets - Anyone Auditing Them?

I have written a few articles on the risks of spreadsheets (click here for one) yet am always amazed how few people are auditing them. I know this given when I tell them I am building a training course on the topic, they immediately are interested and start considering all of the risks within their company (or ones they are developing themselves).

Anyone auditing spreadsheets for errors and fraud? Feel free to let us know through the blog reply feature.

Thanks,
Rich Lanza

I was hired by a commodities trading company to audit and "stabilize" their home made trading books in MS Excel (tracking many many $ millions in trades). This was a house of cards built on tricky and undocumented VBA code. This six week assignment turned into an 18 month project - an interesting and profitable experience!
